Her first role on screen was Betty Cooper (on the CW teen show Riverdale) which she played in her first appearance. She was born and raised in Ohio US she was passionate about the performing arts from a young age. She was a dancer for 10 years and performed regularly on stage in the local community. At a very young age she was able to begin performing. Her first performance was an appearance in the film For Today. When she was 18 she moved into Los Angeles in order to explore a career in acting. She appeared in several movies such as Lilith Kings of Summer Miss Stevens The Good Neighbors as well as The First Hope and TV shows including Law And Order: Special Victims Unit and Surviving Jack. A time in her acting career, she suffered from depression. In the TV show Riverdale she played the sweet Betty Cooper and received many accolades. She has spoken out on depression numerous times, and has stressed the importance of mental health.
